We had traveled 4 hours to find this particular orchid, I had GPS data so it should be easy, we thought!  We parked and started down the nearest track, no science yet, just out strolling to unwind for a few minutes.

About 20m into the track we noticed a Small Spider orchid, ah! this is a good omen.  We walked on a few more meters and the Eastern Spider showed itself - no need for GPS data, they seemed to be everywhere.

Photographed at the Wonthaggi Heathlands.
