Details (Vic): Photographed in the Brisbane Ranges, Grampians, Genoa Area, Stawell Area and area in outer South East Melbourne. View a "white" version of this orchid from Genoa area. Flowering: Flowering September - January, mainly October to November. Size: Up to 45cm tall, flowers - usually 2to 9, to 30mm long. Position: Widespread, throughout Victoria. Found in Woodlands, open forests on drier stony slopes and ridges. Also in heathlands and heathy woodlands on well drained soils Endemic, Secure but uncommon. |
