Calochilus campestris Copper Beard Orchid

Back

After finding the Purple Beard Orchid we continued on, thinking how lucky we were.   By this time it was getting on and twilight was upon us, we crossed another track and there in the centre was another bearded orchid, but wait this was different, we felt really lucky now.

This orchid has a distinct blue plate at the base of the lip of the flower.
