Back

Late in the day, we were ready to give up looking for orchids, but no we had to try one last path behind the picnic area.  Downhill it went (not another climb back up I sighed!) and went till we found a cross road, leading up hill again, we turned and there was the orchid.  Just enough light still left to take photographs.

Photographed in the Brisbane Ranges.

Since this day I have found a long way off in East Gippsland a "white" version of this orchid.
