I was wrong, I said this place was a waste of time, there would be nothing to find here.  We talked to the Ranger and he said to look at the top of the hill, so off we went.

We found some leaves only, I was vindicated!  But then a small number of early flowering plants were found, I apologized and continue to do so, when this orchid is mentioned.

After another 2 years we have updated our reference books (actully a CD) which has singled out this orchid as a trilabra, rather than a reflexa that we had identified it.  Fortunately we have also now found a reflexa, so all is again sweet in our orchid world!

Photographed in the Morwell National Park.
