This orchid was discovered in an old sandpit area, slowly reverting back to its natural form of wooded heathland.

These are small orchids hard to see as you walk past, until you spot one and then they seem to show themselves everywhere you look.

Details (Vic):

Flowering:  Flowering mainly December to May, mainly March to April.

Size: Up to 15cm tall,  flowers -  up to to 20, to 10mm across

Location: Various habitats on seasonally wet, often disturbed sand and clay loams.

Endemic, Secure.
