Corunastylis morrisii var contortum -

Bearded Midge Orchid

Back

We spotted these on a "get fit" walk at Pyrete, after 5km of walking up and down very steep hills we stopped to catch our breath and yes there they were, looking very innocent.  Each flower is very small and the flower head is less than a dollar coin in height/width.  A very lucky find.

Photographed in the Lerderderg State Park, Pyrete Range.
