This year's rains have produced a better showing than the drought affected plants we saw last year. 

As usual they still grow in the middle of other plants (helps protect them from being eaten), so it's hard to photograph them in the wild!

Details (Vic):

Flowering:  Flowering April - July, mainly April to June.

Size: Flower stem to 15cm,  flower - 1, to 20mm across. 

Location:  Found generally in coastal areas in heathlands, heathy woodlands and grass tree plains. Soils from sandy to peaty.

Endemic, Vulnerable.
