One of the first "spring" flowers to appear. 

Photographed in the Brisbane Ranges National Park.

Details (Vic):

Flowering:  Flowering August to September.

Size: Up to 15cm tall,  flowers - 1, to 25mm across.  Pale to deep blue in colour.

Position:  Common in Victorian Goldfields, coastal and hinterland areas.  Open forests and woodlands (often Box-ironbark type).  Also in open scrubland, heathlands and heathy woodlands nearer the coast in well drained soils.

Endemic, Secure.
