We saw an old Fox-off tag fluttering in the
wind - then another - overall we counted 4 - perhaps we should take a look
here. I was dubious as it was thick bracken, but we went anyway.
A few meters in we found one, not in very good a condition, then another
and another, these ones were better. A very lucky find indeed. Photographed in the Western Districts of Victoria. |

Details (Vic): Flowering: Flowering December to February, mainly January. Size: Up to 70cm tall, flowers - usually 10 to 35, to 20mm across. Location: Found in open forests and woodlands on basalt lava flows, well drained soils. Endemic
