We had passed the turn-off, we turned around and drove slowly back.  A flash of yellow - what was that?  We stopped and saw orchids easily at a distance, Moths perhaps?  Now we know after looking up in the book, they are new to us - Cowslips!

Details (Vic):

Flowering:  Flowering September to November.

Size: Up to 50cm tall,  flowers -  usually 2 to 4, to 25mm across.

Location: Central and Western Victoria, growing in grassland, grassy-woodland and Box Ironbark forests.
