We first photographed this orchid in the Mallee, with a point and shoot digital camera. We went back the following year after having updated the camera and at the same spot we found the orchid again. The photographs are now somewhat better. Photographed in the Little Desert NP. |

Details (Vic): Flowering: Flowering August to November, mainly September to November. Size: Up to 45cm tall, flower - 1 to 4, to 80mm across. Position: Found in open Mallee scrublands, woodlands and open forests; sandy soils. Endemic, Secure.  |
