We were chatting to a ranger 2 weeks earlier and he said that a rare orchid was flowering for the first time in a while and we should photograph it.  We got nowhere with the stated directions.  Research indicated it was possibly this orchid.  So 2 weeks later we went to where we thought we should find it, taking into account the rangers comments.  After about a kilometre walk along a track we found them, right on the side of the track.  The first one was a bud, but we soon found mature plants.

Photographed at the Little Desert National Park.
