Petalochilus carnea - Pink Fingers

Back

I think this was the first wild orchid I ever saw.  It was pointed out some 15 years ago while on a clean-up day of the Long Forest National Park.  It seemed so small for a flower let alone an orchid! I took a close-up photo and was hooked!

These orchids, although small, jump-out at you as you walk along the forest path.  However you need to check them out as there's a few look a likes!

The old motto, take a photo just in case always applies.
