We had looked at where we thought was the right  spot, but no luck, perhaps we were to late or they did not flower this year.  We decided to make our trip into a walk instead, so off we set.

We wandered on down the track noting this and that and finally stopped - we had gone far enough, it was hot.  Mischa checked a clearing while I thought about the long haul back to the car.

Her shout - "look at this" instantly caught my attention and we were away again, we had found the orchid we were looking for -  was this the right spot then?  Of course it was!

We found at least a dozen in various stages of life.

This orchid only grows in the Anglesea area.

Photographed at Anglesea.
