We had came to this new area to find new orchids (to us anyway) and we were not sorry, the 50 foot rule worked and we had found this orchid within minutes of getting out of the car.  We found 6 orchids within the hour.

Details (Vic):

Flowering:  August to September

Size:  Stem to 15cm tall, flowers 1-4, to 30mm across.

Location:  Generally on the western side of the state.  Found in  woodlands and open forests on shallow, gravelly sand and clay loams.

Endemic, Secure
