High up in the hills we found these orchids -
they survived 3 recent and very unseasonable snow falls and a few frosts
tossed in as well. Some areas, normally with many orchids were completely
devastated with no orchids in sight - some others had been lucky - the
microclimate not effected for whatever reason. Photographed in the Omeo area. |
