An interesting orchid to say the least.
It's taken some research to identify this one. The column and tufts
are classic atronitida, but the hood is blue not black, perhaps an albino
form. Colour is not the true identification characteristic of any
plant. If I'm wrong please let me know! Photographed in East Gippsland. |

Details (Vic): Flowering: Flowering October - November. Size: Up to 50cm tall, flowers - 2 to 8, to 25mm across Endemic, Rare.
