This is a very tiny plant, quite invisible.  It was pointed out to me, I saw it, turned away to get my camera and looked back only to have lost its location.  But isn't it the most interesting flower!

With the recent fires in the Brisbane Ranges it will be interesting to see if this orchid flowers in the future.  Drought seemed to have stopped it last year from flowering at all.

Details (Vic):

Flowering:  Flowering November to April, mainly December to January. 

Size: Up to 15cm tall,  flowers -  1to 8,  to 20mm long.

Position: Widespread in southern Victoria.  Favours heathy, open forest and woodland; often found in leaf litter beneath other vegetation.

Endemic, Secure.
