Orchids flower for some 1-2 weeks, some can be longer.  Depending on rainfall the plants receive they can flower  earlier or later than usual. Leaves appear to announce the pending arrival of the full plant and then the flowers.  Look for leaves on your walks, there is often an early flowering plant around somewhere!

I have noted when I have found Orchids flowering and have produced these pages to show this.  As I may have found these at the end or start of there flowering period, for the year in question, please allow a bit of latitude in which month I have placed them.
