We arrived a bit late - the fight had finished. It was not apparent whether it was 2 males trying to keep territory or a male looking for female company. We found one koala on the ground, looking dazed; wondering where his opponent went and which tree was safe to climb. |

Quite at home on the ground he moved quickly to the next tree. With ease he started to climb the tree. His great claws dug in easily and he was away! |

Having checked everything out the victor moved on up. We went looking for more orchids. |
