The "big smoke" photo's were taken from the shiny blue tower behind us in the above shot. We are at the Casino, where other people gamble and lose their money. Mischa and I like to roam around the good cafe's with friends and take advantage of the good pricing. The tall black object next to us is a water fountain, water cascades from the top down the sides. This is to allow the Casino to have large "gas" light show at night. Every hour there is a giant flame that leaps out and engulfs the skyline all along the riverfront from a number of these innocent towers. |

Melbourne has a reputation for its gardens and having seen all of the other states Botanic Gardens, I'm sure their the best in Australia. Here Mischa sits and relaxes watching the Ducks, Seaguls and Swans vie for handouts. |

Flowing past the Gardens is the Yarra River, an upside down river because it is always brown. Scenic cruises pass along going nowhere, but back at base is the city and Westbank with the Restaurants and the Casino |
