Trowutta Arch Walk

Back

If you're in the area this is an interesting place to visit.  The walk goes through a rainforest area ending at the arch.  The walk itself is wonderful as you pass through a park like rainforest.  Lots of ferns and tall trees, but little ground cover giving an uncluttered view.  The arch itself is quite spectacular and gives a view of a green, fern edged pond in a sinkhole environment.  It's not a long walk,  starting out flat and its not until the last 100m that the track slopes down to the arch.  An easy 45 minute return trip with time for photographs and general sight-seeing.
