Mackenzie Falls Walk

We have not visited these falls for over twenty years and it has changed a lot since then.  The paths, the lookouts even the toilets are now great. One thing that hasn't changed is the long way down to see the main falls and the effort required to get back to the top!  But the falls don't disappoint at all, they are still spectacular and up with the best in Victoria.
We first took the circuit walk to the upper Mackenzie Falls lookout which gives you a birds eye view of the main falls.  This is around 2 km in length.  We then went to Broken Falls Lookout, then Cranages Lookout and finally down the 260 steps to the bottom of the falls.  While here we did the extension to Fish Falls as well.
Back at the top again we ran into some Kangaroo's and Emu's which were aware but not worried by us photographing them at a reasonably close distance.
A great afternoon walk.
